Laboratory Qualification Program (LQP)

The LQP is designed to ensure that all laboratories that perform materials sampling and testing functions required under an agency's construction contracts comply with qualifications criteria adopted by WAQTC member agencies.

LQP Objectives

To certify that facilities adequately house required equipment and allow equipment to operate properly
To promote the use of WAQTC Qualified Materials Testing Technicians
To verify that testing equipment is correctly and regularly calibrated
To ensure that appropriate documentation is maintained and made available for review
